Born and raised in Edson, Steve Basaraba is taking on a new role of owner of Alpine Edge Plumbing & Heating. Steve started his plumbing career straight out of high school, graduating from Parkland Composite High School in 2009. He attended NAIT, achieving his Journeyman Plumbing/Gas Fitting Certificates in 2014. Since then he has worked in Red Deer and Edmonton making his way back to Edson in 2019 where he settled to raise his family. Steve has been an integral part of Roy'l Flush Plumbing & Heating since 2022 and now that he has purchased the Edson division he is ready to start his own journey. He takes pride in his his work as well as providing quality service all while balancing family life.
Finding the right balance between team members personal life and quality service is important part of who we strive to be. Giving back to the community in which we service is also a fundamental part of our company therefore we donate to local groups and community events as much as we can.

STEVE BASARABA
Journeyman Plumber / Gas Fitter - Owner
Born and raised in the Edson area, Steve is a journeyman plumber/gasfitter as well as the new owner of Alpine Edge. He has over 14 years experience in the industry focusing on new construction, commercial and residential customers.
In his spare time he enjoys camping and cheering on the Oilers as well he is kept busy with his kids activities.

JOEY CANNING
Apprentice
Born and raised in Edson area, Joey is no stranger to hard work and is proving to be a huge asset to the team. He joined the team in May 2025 and is willing to do the dirty work, even answer the office phone when needed. Joey enjoys spending time with his family and friends, anything to do with rural living and outdoor activities with rock climbing holding a special place in his heart .

JESSE STOLZ
Journeyman Plumber / Gas Fitter
Born and raised in the Edson area, Jesse completed the apprentice program in January 2025 at NAIT and is a valued member of our team. His keen eye and new ideas makes him a great journeyman plumber and gas fitter. He has been at this location from the beginning of his career and has proven to be a huge asset within our organization. He is very friendly, enjoys hanging with his friends, camping and snowboarding.

JAYDEN PILLAGE
Apprentice
Born and raised in the Edson area, Jayden joined our team in September 2025 to begin his plumbing career. He brings a hard work ethic, dedication, willingness to learn and a good sense of humor. We are excited to watch him grow and expand his knowledge in plumbing. Aside from being a connoisseur of good food and beer he enjoys camping, fishing, boating and travelling.

WANDA MACGREGOR
Office Administrator
Moved to the area in 2022 and has been part of the team since January 2023. She comes with a wealth of knowledge and extensive office experience that has become vital to the day to day operations. Her sense of humor is unmatched, making her a delight to work with. Apart from her professional skills, she also enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities such as camping and quadding.

After Hours Emergency Services
Plumbing and Heating doesn't always fail during business hours!
We provide emergency plumbing and heating services and will respond as quickly as possible based on technician availability. Our priority is to deliver safe, high quality service while ensuring our team is well rested and ready to handle your emergency as effectively as possible. Our phones are forwarded during weekends in the winter months, during warmer months you can call the office for an on call number. Overtime rates apply when technicians are dispatched outside regular business hours.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. All estimates are based on visible conditions at time of inspection. Hidden or unforeseen issues may result in additional charges. Hourly work will be billed at current service rates plus materials. Estimates are non-binding unless otherwise stated in writing and those will be called "quotes"
2. Minimum 1 hour charge during regular business hours, and 2 hours at overtime rate outside of regular business hours. Additional time is billed in 1/2 hr increments thereafter
3. Emergency services are offered based on technician availability. While we make every effort to respond promptly, service is not guaranteed outside regular business hours
4. The customer is responsible for providing clear and safe access to the work area. Missed appointments or inaccessible sites may be subject to the minimum 1 hour charge
5. Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Overdue accounts may be subject to 2% interest per month or 24% per annum. Any invoices paid with credit card, fees will be subject to 2.4% fee for invoices over $1500. Invoices paid via cash, debit, cheque or e transfer will not be subject to this fee
6. A deposit may be required prior to the commencement of larger projects. Materials/Equipment will not be ordered until deposit is received
7. Warranties & Workmanship
We provide a 1 year warranty on workmanship. Manufacturer warranties apply to all supplied material and equipment. Warranty is void if work is altered by others. Workmanship warranty does not cover if parts fail but not due to workmanship, customer is responsible to pay for necessary labour to replace failed parts
8. We do not warranty customer supplied materials. Labour to install such items is billed without guarantee on product performance
9. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, or damage resulting from aging or faulty systems beyond our control. Liability is limited to the value of the services provided
10. While care is taken during all work, the customer acknowledges that plumbing and heating work may involve opening walls, ceilings or floors. We are not responsible for cosmetic repairs unless explicitly included
11. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to the 1 hour minimum charge
12. Unsafe working conditions, including harassment and abuse, will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service
13. We may take photos of work performed for documentation and quality control purposes
14. Warranty regarding drain cleaning applies only to the specific blockage addressed during the service call. Any new issues that arise are not covered under the 14 day warranty
15. Any material or equipment installed is property of Alpine Edge Plumbing & Heating Ltd. until such time that invoice is paid in full. We reserve the right to register a lien against the property if the invoice is left unpaid. The customer agrees to pay all costs including but not limited to legal fees, court costs, lien registration fees, and third party collection agency fees
16. In the event of non payment and where it is legally permitted, the Customer agrees to provide Alpine Edge Plumbing & Heating Ltd. reasonable access to recover the unpaid equipment and materials. Such recovery will not involve trespassing or breach of property
17. By approving an estimate, quote or any work (including electronically) the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions
18. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in the province of Alberta
